What is the cost of moving into a new home?

Prices for moving home vary depending on the size of your move (volume), distance from your pick-up and drop-off locations and how many men you hire to help. Every moving company quotes based on different criteria and there isn’t an industry standard.

As a general rule of thumb, for local house moves, quotes often show the movers hourly rates and any call out fees, and for inter-city moves a fixed fee will usually be provided.

Price for inter-city 3 bedroom house move (200 – 1000+km)
